1st Secure Compliance was organized to meet the growing need for reliable, efficient, and knowledgeable service auditors to perform SOC assessments. The mission of 1st Secure Compliance is to provide our clients with exceptional service that goes beyond just "checking the box", but to be a valuable advisory resource before, during and after the SOC assessment. The most critical step in providing exceptional service is for us to gain a thorough and complete understanding of our clients' business and their respective business objectives. This is a key for a successful engagement.
About the founder:
Steve Dewsnap, CPA, CISSP, CISA, PCI-QSA: Steve has over 25 years of experience in Information Systems security and auditing. Steve was a founding member of 1st Secure IT, LLC - a premier Qualified Security Assessor Company (QSAC) for the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) and performed and managed numerous compliance assessments throughout the US and Latin America. Steve created 1st Secure Compliance specifically to meet the demand of System and Organization Control (SOC) assessments. More specifically, to address the need of many of our PCI-DSS clients that require System and Organization Controls 2 certifications (SOC-2) in addition the PCI DSS certification.
1st Secure Compliance is an active CPA firm that abides by AICPA standards and guidelines in the performance of SOC assessments.
